Finished in its original color of Deep Burnt Orange Metallic, this Barracuda’s finish has a beautiful luster. The exterior is further enhanced by its chrome and brightwork that is in excellent condition. Optional rallye wheels provide additional spark.
This Barracuda’s interior is equally sporty, but also includes elements of luxury befitting its “Gran Coupe” name. Its original orange houndstooth cloth-and-vinyl bucket seats show as new. You’ll also appreciate other touches of luxury, such as its simulated woodgrain center console and dash, and pedal dress up kit. It also has its original deluxe molded headliner and roof-mounted consolette including a map light, and warning lamps that let you know when you’re running low on fuel, or if a door is ajar, in addition to reminding you to fasten your seat belts—all of which work as they should. Optional convenience features include a rear window defogger and factory AM radio with 8-track. With the exception of the carpeting, the interior is completely original and in excellent condition.
Under the hood you will find the original 318 CID V-8 mated to the original 3-speed automatic transmission and rear-end. With 230 horsepower and 320 lbs.-ft. of torque, this Barracuda runs and drives beautifully. You’ll appreciate its optional power brakes and power steering, in addition to its optional console mounted “Slap Stick,” which enables you to drive in automatic or to shift the gears manually. An optional front anti-sway bar keep this car firmly planted in the turns. This Barracuda has been driven regularly, though sparingly, with confidence. Having just 55,800 original miles, this Barracuda runs and drives as well as it looks.
