1976 Buick RivieraStunning Boston Red Metallic … Rare white leather … 455 CID V-8 … Well equipped … Original paperwork … One-family owned …

Buick’s Riviera was always a car of distinction.  As Buick’s flagship model, it exemplified a unique combination of styling, luxury, and sportiness that appealed to the well-heeled.  1976 marked the end of the fourth generation of Rivieras; never again would they be as generous of proportion or as much of a presence on the road.

This absolutely stunning 1976 Buick Riviera has been refinished in its original color of Boston Red Metallic and features a contrasting optional White landau roof with brushed stainless steel accents.  Its finish has a beautiful luster that is further accentuated by an abundance of chrome and brightwork that is in excellent condition.  Its complementing White pinstripes and optional chrome rallye wheels add additional notes of distinction.

The all original interior is similarly refined, featuring sumptuous white leather seating areas, a seldom seen option on Rivieras of this vintage.  Its beautifully contrasting red dashboard and carpeting provide plenty of visual appeal, as do its rich wood appliqués.  The luxurious leather seats are soft and supple, affording you a truly luxurious and comfortable driving experience.  The seating areas, carpeting, dashboard, headliner and door panels are all in excellent condition.

You will also appreciate this car’s long list of standard and optional comfort and convenience items, including the following:

Powered by a 4-barrel carbureted 455 CID V-8 and a Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission, this powertrain has a smoothness and responsiveness long noted as a hallmark of Buick engineering.  You’ll also appreciate the quietness afforded by its brand-new dual exhaust system.  Having just under 89,000 miles, this meticulously maintained car runs and drives as well as it looks, having recently completed a four-hour road trip with no issues whatsoever.

Minor imperfections in the interior and exterior, given careful use through the years, do not detract from the overall appearance of this car.

A one-family owned car since new, the original owner was a GM employee and watched the car go down the assembly line at Flint after ordering it just the way he desired.  The original owner’s manuals and selling paperwork from Blain Buick-Opel, Inc. will be included with sale.

If a stunningly beautiful and well cared for fourth generation Riviera is what you desire, this is the car for you!
