“ONE OF 2,300”

“Best of Class” Winner of the 2015 Cadillac LaSalle Western Reserve Region “Gathering of the Land Yachts” Show

1980 marked the inaugural year for the elegant Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe.  A mid-year introduction, only 2,300 were produced in 1980, marking the lowest production of any year in its six year production run.

Finished in understated and elegant Sandstone, this gorgeous 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe features a Beige Metallic vinyl cabriolet roof and Brown pinstripes.  Its finish is in very good condition, and its original vinyl roof shows as new.  You will also be impressed with this car’s abundance of chrome and brightwork, which is in excellent condition.  Optional door edge guards and wire wheel covers provide additional refinement.

The interior is equally impressive, featuring optional leather seating areas in Sandstone.  The leather seats are glove soft and show as new.  Similarly, the dashboard, door panels, carpeting, and headliner are all in excellent condition.  Even the original factory floor mats are free of wear!  You’ll also appreciate this car’s abundance of comfort and convenience features, including the following:

  • Power windows
  • Power door locks
  • 6-way power driver & passenger seats
  • Power trunk lid release & pull down
  • Electronic level control
  • Twilight Sentinel
  • Illuminated entry system
  • Rear passenger reading lamps
  • Tilt & telescope steering wheel
  • Rear window defogger
  • Controlled cycle wiper system
  • Cruise control
  • Factory CB
  • AM/FM stereo radio with 8-track
  • Automatic Climate Control

All power options work as they should with the exception of the power antenna.  The air conditioning is not currently blowing ice cold.  In addition, minor imperfections in the finish and brightwork do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.

This Cadillac has the power to match its refined looks.  Powered by a 4-barrel carbureted 6.0 liter V-8 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain is considered to be the most desirable ever put into a Cadillac in the 1980s—and it was only available for 1980.  Adequately powered for the size of the car, this engine has a power, smoothness, and reliability that makes it unique among 1980s Cadillacs.  The ride is absolutely silent and the suspension affords cloud-like comfort.  Having just 53,600 original miles, this beautiful car runs and drives as well as it looks.  During a recent 1,000 mile road trip, this car performed flawlessly.

This Fleetwood Brougham was originally purchased from Camargo Cadillac Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.  It was Ziebart rustproofed when new and has always received the best of care.  Recent updates included the following:
