Color, Color, Color!

This stunning one-owner 1986 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series is finished in Triple Black, and features a factory carriage top that is in like new condition.  The exterior is further enhanced by an abundance of chrome and brightwork and coordinating dual shade Crimson and Gray pinstripes.  Optional lacy spoke aluminum wheels provide and added note of sophistication.

The interior is likewise elegant and sumptuous, and features a Black leather interior that looks showroom new.  The carpeting and factory floor mats are similarly in excellent condition, as is the headliner and dashboard.  You will also appreciate this car’s long list of standard and optional power and convenience items, including the following:

A few items of note are that the exterior finish exhibits minor imperfections that do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.  In addition, some wear is evident on the armrest of the driver’s door and glove box door.  The car would also benefit from new hood supports.

More recent maintenance includes the following:

  • Air conditioning service, including R-134a retrofit
  • Transmission service including pan gasket and filter
  • Dual exhaust system
  • Coil springs
  • Belts
  • Front & rear brake hoses
  • Front brake calipers

Having less than 65,000 original miles, this car has always been garaged and well maintained by its original owner.

As Ford Motor Company so eloquently stated in its 1986 Town Car sales brochure, “Life is full of compromises.  This isn’t one of them.”
