Classic Car Facts

If you’re looking for a drop-dead gorgeous street rod with plenty eye-appeal, look no further than this stunning all-steel 1931 Ford Model A Coupe.

Finished in Bright Yellow, this looker’s finish has a beautiful luster that is further enhanced by its distinctive 1932 Ford grille and tinted windows.  A set of deep-dish wheels with baby moons and trim rings in the rear and front mags in the front provide additional pop, as do its wide white wall tires.  Its showy engine compartment, complete with a tri-power, completes the package.

This coupe’s custom interior is equally impressive, featuring a custom bench seat upholstered in flashy Yellow and Black houndstooth that echoes its exterior color.  You’ll also appreciate this street rod’s tilt steering wheel and ceiling console-mounted Kenwood AM/FM stereo and CD player.  A full complement of gauges will keep you informed about what’s going on with those eight cylinders in front of you, and its 8-ball gear selector knob adds a nice vintage touch.

Between the front bumper and windshield you will find a rebuilt SBC 350 CID V-8 mated to a Powerglide automatic transmission.  Other mechanical upgrades include the following:

  • Front disc brakes
  • Upgraded cam
  • 3 2-barrel carbs
  • MSD electronic ignition
  • Heavy duty chrome alternator
  • Offenhauser valve covers
  • Offenhauser intake
  • Headers
  • Dual exhaust
  • Drop axle
  • Chrome tie-rods
  • Front leaf spring
  • Rear coil-overs
  • Boxed frame
  • Ford 10” rear end with 4.11 gears

The most recent owner has owned and enjoyed this street rod for the last 17 years, and it is the recipient of many trophies at local car shows.

One item of note is that the speedometer and odometer are not currently connected.  In addition, the fuel gauge is not working.  Total mileage is unknown, but estimated mileage since the engine was rebuilt is approximately 1,500 miles.

If a stunning street rod with plenty of eye appeal is what you desire, this 1931 Ford Model A Coupe is the one for you!
