Classic Car Facts

Are you tired of seeing the same 1930s Chevrolet and Ford street rods at car shows?  Are you looking for something different?  If so, you will absolutely love this show-and road-worthy 1934 Pontiac Four-door Touring Sedan—a beauty that perfectly blends the looks of yesteryear with the power and conveniences of today.

Finished in eye-catching two-tone Rose Gold Pearl and Sparking Merlot Dark Red Pearl, this street rod’s base coat/clear coat finish has an absolutely beautiful luster and a reflection that is laser straight.  Its finish is further enhanced by its showy brightwork—all of which was recently re-chromed.  Its suicide doors and dual side mounted spare tires offer this Touring Sedan plenty of distinction, as do its tinted glass, chrome wire wheels and wood adorned rear folding luggage rack.

The custom interior is equally impressive, with its two-tone velour bucket seats that handsomely echo its exterior colors.  A full battery of Classic Instruments gauges will keep you fully informed about what’s going on under the hood.  You will also appreciate this Touring Sedan’s many comfort and convenience features, including a tilt steering wheel, 6-way power seats, power windows, Sony AM/FM stereo with cassette, cruise control and Vintage air conditioning.

Under the hood you will find a heavily chromed rebuilt stock 301 CID V-8 mated to a rebuilt Hydra-matic 3-speed automatic transmission—a modern powertrain that combines power, reliability, and economy.  Its power steering and 4-wheel power disk brakes will have you comfortably in control at the helm.  You’ll also appreciate this Pontiac’s many performance upgrades, including the following:

  • 1978 Pontiac Trans Am front suspension
  • Corvette rear leaf spring & rear end
  • Painless wiring
  • Electric fuel pump
  • New radiator
  • Stainless steel dual exhaust

Having just 500 miles since completed, this looker runs and drives as well as it looks.

Owned by the most recent owner since 1994, this all steel- and wood-bodied street rod’s frame-off restoration was completed about six years ago, and it has been meticulously cared for since.  All work was done to an exacting standard, and it shows.

One item of note is that the cruise control does not currently work, and the air conditioning, although working, could use a charge.

If a drop-dead gorgeous street rod that stands apart from the rest is what you desire, this 1934 Pontiac Four-door Touring Sedan is the one for you!
