Show winning hot rod in Rojo Red  with Bright Blue flames … Fully customized … Heavily chromed 350 CI Chevy crate engine … Ice cold air conditioning …

Get the looks at car shows and around town with this multiple award winning 1940 Ford 2 Door Sedan.  Finished in eye-catching Rojo Red with a coordinating black and charcoal interior, it is easy to see why this classic hot rod has won several “Best of Show” honors and numerous other trophies and awards.  Bright blue flames surrounding the car’s louvered hood complete the car’s attention grabbing look.

This hot rod was built in Georgia and is all steel, with the exception of the rear fenders.  It features a heavily chromed 350 cubic inch Chevy crate engine and an automatic transmission with a shift kit.  This classic runs and drives as well as it looks, and the undercarriage is as fresh and clean as the rest of the car.  Its ice cold air conditioning will keep you comfortable during those wonderful summer road trips.  Other performance features include the following:

  • Power steering
  • Tilt steering wheel
  • Auto Meter electric gauges
  • Ron Francis wiring
  • Flowmaster exhaust
  • Front disc and rear drum brakes
  • New power steering pump
  • New 100 amp alternator
  • New tires

A few items of note are that there is a small scratch on the passenger’s side front fender.  Other very minimal chips do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.  Additionally, there are some very small bubbles on the exterior edge of the rear trunk lid that should be noted (too small to be discernable in photographs).  In addition, the interior and exterior chrome exhibits some pitting.  There is also some minor wear on the interior door handles, but the rest of the interior, including the seats, carpet and dashboard, is without wear.  The seats are from a newer Thunderbird, and the carpeting has been recently professionally replaced. In addition, the front bumper will be provided with the car and can be installed in the future if the new owner so desires.

The car’s gauge clusters were replaced when the car was built, and the odometer currently shows approximately 2,300 miles, but the car’s true mileage is unknown.  Its clear Ohio title appropriately shows the mileage as “exceeds mechanical limits.”

If an eye catching and fun to drive hot rod is what you desire, this is the car for you.
