Classic Car Facts

There is perhaps no more iconic car from the 1950s than the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.  With its soaring tailfins and abundance of chrome trim, this is a car that is recognized and appreciated all the world over.

Whether cruising or showing is your pleasure, you will love this beautifully customized 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Sedan.  Finished in its original colors of Matador Red and India Ivory, this car’s base coat/clear coat finish is further accentuated by its hand-painted flames and other distinctive pinstriping.  Its chrome and brightwork shine like new.  American racing wheels wrapped with raised white letter BF Goodrich tires and tinted windows complete the package.

This car’s gorgeous exterior was not done at the expense of quality interior workmanship.  The custom interior features seats professionally upholstered in two shades of gray.  Chevy “bowtie” logos grace the headrests, interior door panels, and rear seat.  In addition, a removable center console provides a convenient place for beverages and other sundries.  Its original gauges and instrumentation are supplemented by an AutoMeter Autogage tach.  You’ll also appreciate its updated AM/FM stereo with trunk-mounted 10-disc CD changer.

Under the hood you will find a heavily chromed and customized longblock 350 CID V-8 crate motor bored 30 over with racing pistons.  Power is provided to the stock rear-end and gears via a new Richmond Gear 4-speed manual transmission and clutch with a Hurst shifter.  Its front power disc brakes will provide you with confidence on the road.  Other performance upgrades include the following:

  • Edelbrock intake
  • Edelbrock 4-barrel carb
  • Hardened valve seals
  • MSD electronic ignition
  • Dual chamber master cylinder & power brake booster
  • Be Cool aluminum radiator
  • High temp powder coated stock headers
  • 2 ½” stainless steel dual exhaust system
  • New drive shaft

Best of all, this car runs and drives as well as it looks.

If an iconic classic with plenty of power is what you desire, this 1957 Bel Air 2-Door Sedan is the one for you!
