Low production post coupe … 350 CID V-8 bored 30 over … 350 turbo transmission … Many performance upgrades … 38,000 original miles … Turn-key …

Be the envy of the crowd at car cruise-ins and at the drag strip alike in this distinctive 1963 Chevy II 300 post coupe.  This fully customized car features a completely rebuilt Chevy 350 engine bored 30 over that was removed from a 1978 El Camino.  It also features a ¼ horsepower race cam, a 350 turbo transmission and a new 3.07:1 rear end with all new bearings.  Other performance upgrades include the following:

  • Doug’s headers
  • Mallory HEI distributor
  • New dual exhaust system with 10 year warranty
  • Flowmaster stainless steel mufflers
  • Griffin EZ Flow radiator and transmission cooler
  • Dual master cylinder
  • 1967 Nova wagon suspension
  • American Racing rims
  • Newer Dunlop tires

Other recent updates include new Accel spark plugs, new alternator and voltage regulator, new wiring into the fuse box, new brakes and springs, and fresh oil and filter.  With only 1,200 miles on the rebuilt engine and under 38,000 original miles on the body, this cruiser runs and drives as beautifully as it looks.

Recent cosmetic updates include new paint on a completely rust-free body in 2006 and a new interior in 2008.  The interior, including dashboard, door panels, seats, headliner, and carpeting, shows as new.  This classic’s Light Blue Metallic paint has a high luster, although there are minor imperfections that do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.  One other item of note is that although the heater and fan function as they should, the heater hoses are not currently connected.

Originally equipped with a 6 cylinder engine and a manual transmission, this car was initially purchased by an Akron, Ohio woman who kept it for many years.  She subsequently sold it to the gentleman who oversaw its cosmetic restoration.  The most recent owner undertook its mechanical restoration and many of its performance upgrades.

If a turn-key car that turns heads at shows is what you desire, this classic is for you
