“Patina Turner”

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to own “Patina Turner”—a head turning custom 1965 Ford F-100 conceived and executed by Bryan Fuller, owner of Fuller Moto and of Overhaulin’, Two Guys Garage, Caffeine & Octane and Car Fix fame.  Previously a Georgia barn find, this work of art was used as a shop truck for Fuller Moto, a leading automotive and motorcycle design and customization shop in Atlanta, Georgia (FULLER MOTO).  This sweet little pickup was also featured in the Season 10 Episode 14 of Motor Trend’s Car Fix ((130) Patina Turner – YouTube), when Fuller made various upgrades to its steering system for the current owner.  Fuller’s work is renowned, and is currently being featured in a special exhibit at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, Georgia (Exhibitions | Savoy Automobile Museum (savoymuseum.org)).

Purchased from Fuller approximately eight years ago, the current owner has enjoyed this eye catcher for parades, shows and occasional pleasure use with his family.  Powered by a rebuilt and reliable 1969 302 CID V-8, this truck runs like a top.  The engine is mated to a smooth shifting C-4 3-speed automatic transmission that has been serviced and sealed.  Its full complement of auxiliary SunPro gauges will keep you fully informed about what’s going on under the hood.  Other mechanical upgrades include the following:

  • Power steering
  • Power front disc brakes
  • Dual master cylinder
  • Griffin aluminum radiator
  • American Autowire wiring
  • Edelbrock aluminum manifold and 4-barrel carburetor
  • Lowered front suspension with new coil springs and bushings
  • Headers and TIG welded 2.5” Magnaflow dual stainless-steel exhaust
  • New gas tank, sending unit and fuel pump
  • Newer hoses and belts

Custom touches were not relegated to mechanicals, however.  “Patina Turner” definitely gets the looks with her bright Turquoise matte finish and embellished patina.  Also unique is the custom dual exhaust which exits through the rear fenders.  Another unique feature is the beechwood bed, which was sourced from the wood of a barn built in 1850, lightly sanded, and varnished.  The wood floor has not been bolted in, so you may easily remove it if the underlying black-painted metal bed is your preference.  Accelco aluminum wheels wrapped with Coker American Classics wide whites and custom hand-painted pinstriping by Chastin Brand (About — ChastinHandPainted) add additional eye candy.

One item of note is that the fuel gauge registers approximately a quarter tank off, and the speedometer is about 10 MPH off as well.  Total mileage is unknown.

Included with sale are a set of new uninstalled rear drum brakes and all installation manuals for mechanical upgrades.

If a reliable, fun-to-drive and eye-catching pickup is what you’re after, “Patina Turner” is the truck for you!
