Many performance upgrades … Gorgeous Aqua Mist Metallic exterior with matching vinyl interior … Hurst performance dual-gate shifter … Classic Cragars …

Tap the accelerator and be rewarded with the throaty rumble of this legendary 1967 Pontiac GTO!  Finished in eye-catching Aqua Mist Metallic exterior with matching vinyl bucket seats, this car’s finish has a mirror-like luster.  The exterior is further enhanced by an abundance of high quality chrome that is sure to garner attention on the open road and at the race track alike.

Powered by a 400 cubic inch 8 cylinder engine mated to a Turbo-Hydromatic 400 automatic transmission with Hurst Performance Dual-Gate (“his/hers”) shifter, this classic muscle car’s engine received several performance upgrades when it was rebuilt approximately 4,000 miles ago.  These upgrades included the following:

  • Bored .030
  • Speed-Pro forged pistons with dry film coating
  • 670 heads with 2.11/1.77 Ram Air II valves
  • Pocket ported gasket matched to performer RPM polished manifold
  • Harland Sharp roller rockers
  • COMP Xtreme Energy Camshaft
  • Holley 750 vac carburetor with adjustable metering block
  • Carter 80 GPM fuel pump
  • Ram Air III exhaust manifolds with 2.5 Flowmaster exhaust with crossover
  • HEI ignition
  • Kelly Charger tires (Front 235 60.15, Rear 245 60.15)

In addition to the engine being mechanically rebuilt, the exterior of the car was cosmetically restored and was repainted at that time.  The finish and chrome shimmer.  The interior is in very good primarily original condition and shows minimal wear.  The vinyl seats and dash are in excellent condition, with no color fading, cracks or tears.  An aftermarket tachometer, gauge cluster, and Panasonic CD player have been added and further enhance the driving experience.  All receipts from the car’s mechanical and cosmetic restoration have been retained and will be provided to the next owner.

A few items of note are that the clock does not work, and there is a slight cloudiness to the original gauge lens covers.  Additionally, there are some slight bubbles on the inside bottom edges of the doors.  In addition, there is some light pitting on the chrome of the door handles, but the bumpers are free of any such pitting.

The odometer shows approximately 99,000 miles, and the clear Ohio title reflects this mileage as actual, however, as noted above, the car has been driven only about 4,000 miles since the engine was rebuilt.  Since being restored, the car has always received the best of care, ensuring that it will thrill for many years to come.

Make today the day to begin the next chapter of this exciting muscle car’s history!
