427 CID V-8

4-Speed Manual

Classic Car Facts

This gorgeous 1969 Corvette Stingray features its original powertrain and has only 65,000 original miles.  Finished in Riverside Gold, its finish has a beautiful luster that is further accentuated by chrome that is in excellent condition.  Other distinguishing features include chrome tipped dual exhaust, optional chrome front fender louver trim, T-tops, chrome rallye wheels, and Firestone Red-line Super Wide Oval Sports tires.

The original interior of this car is equally impressive and features black bucket seats and an imposing center console housing its Hurst 4-speed competition shifter.  Its full set of original gauges will keep you informed about what’s going on under the hood.  You’ll also appreciate its AM/FM stereo cassette, and its optional tilt and telescope steering wheel will allow any driver to get comfortable behind the wheel.

Under the hood you’ll find the highly desirable original big block 427 CID V-8 and 4-speed manual transmission—a powertrain that generates an impressive 390 horsepower and 460 lbs. ft. of torque.  The car also features its original 3.08 rear end, allowing for an exhilarating driving experience.  Its optional power steering will help you corner on those twisty two lanes with ease.  Best of all, with just 65,000 original miles, it runs and drives as well as it looks.

This Corvette comes complete with its original documentation and paperwork, including the original owner’s manuals, warranty booklets, Protect-o-Plate card, and radio and headlamp washer system instructional tags.  In addition, the ownership history is documented with copies of past titles and financing paperwork, all of which are included with sale.

This Corvette benefits from a body-off restoration that was completed in the early 2000s.  It has seen limited summer pleasure use since that time.  Recent mechanical work completed in 2014 at a cost of over $3,800 includes the following:

  • Front & rear brake pads & rotors
  • Front & rear brake calipers
  • New master cylinder
  • Brake fluid flush
  • New power steering cylinder
  • New power steering control valve
  • New power steering hoses
  • New drive axle shaft u-joints

Receipts for this work will be included with sale, as will a $500 custom car cover.

A few items of note are that the clock and windshield wipers are not currently working.  In addition, minor imperfections in the finish given use since the restoration do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.  There is also minor wear in the original interior.

If a matching numbers, low mileage, big-block C-3 is what you desire, look no further than this stunning 1969 Corvette!
