This was the tag line Ford Motor Company used when it introduced its impressive 1969 Mach I SportsRoof.  Not only did this muscle car have the looks that made everyone want to own one, but it had the brawn to match.  With these speed and endurance records, they had a right to brag.

This fully restored Mach I features its original 4 barrel carbureted 351 CID V-8 and optional Select Shift Cruise-o-Matic automatic transmission, which generates an impressive 290 horsepower.  Both the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt 1,000 miles ago when the car was restored.  You will also appreciate the following features:

Other mechanical upgrades include stainless steel brake and fuel lines.  It also benefits from newer tires.  Best of all, this car runs and drives as well as it looks.

This Mach I’s Candy Apple Red finish has a beautiful luster, which is accentuated by its distinctive Mach I reflective striping and chrome and brightwork that is in excellent condition.  It also features a low gloss Black finish on the hood and cowl.  Magnum 500 chrome wheels, pin-type hood lock latches, and rear spoiler complete the look.

The Black interior is the perfect match to its sporty exterior, and was completely redone when the car was restored in 2008.  The dash board, headliner, steering wheel, seats, door panels, and carpeting show like new.  Its fully functional electric clock and upgraded Alpine AM/FM stereo with CD player will add to your driving pleasure.

Included with sale are the original owner’s manual, sales brochure, window sticker, and all receipts and records from the restoration.  A CD containing photographs documenting the restoration and a framed Elite Marti report will also be provided to the next owner of this car.
