Classic Car Facts

If you’re looking for early-70s big block muscle in an attention-grabbing package, this 1970 Nova has it all!

Finished in its original color of Green Mist, this Nova is powered by a 396 CID V-8 with a mild cam.  The engine is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.  Both the engine and transmission were rebuilt less than 3,000 miles ago.  Having just 55,000 original miles, this beauty runs and drives as well as it looks, its stainless steel headers and dual exhaust providing a satisfying rumble. You’ll also appreciate its power steering and power front disc brakes.

The finish has a nice luster that is further enhanced by its chromework and SS badging, which are also in very good condition.  Other eye candy includes simulated air-intakes and fender louvers, and SS trimSport wheels, Goodyear Polysteel Radial tires, and dual exhaust complete the look.

The new interior is equally sporty, and features Black Strato-bucket vinyl seats.  The seating areas, carpeting, dashboard, steering wheel and headliner are virtually free of wear, having been replaced when the car was restored approximately six years ago.  Other features include an AM radio, tilt steering wheel, AutoMeter Speed Tach, and Autogauge auxiliary gauges.

Although badged as a SS, this Nova was originally a standard Nova 2-door coupe. Also of note is that the AM radio’s speaker is not currently with the car.  Minor imperfections in the paint and chrome do not detract from the overall appearance of this car.

If an eye-catching Nova with big block power is what you desire, this is the car for you!
