Classic Car Facts

41,000 original miles … Lustrous Gold … Buckskin Landau roof … Rare factory sunroof … 350 CID V-8 … Loaded with options … No winters … One owner …

General Motors’ mid-sized personal luxury cars were a popular choice among American buyers in the mid-1970s.  They combined the same balance of fresh styling, luxury, and comfort as their full size counterparts, yet were more nimble and reasonably priced.  Buick’s offering was the aptly named Regal, which was offered in “Colonnade” form from 1973 – 1977.

This stunning one-owner Regal is finished in its original Gold Metallic finish with a coordinating Buckskin Landau top and luxurious interior.  The finish has a mirror-like luster, as does its original chrome.  Its original vinyl top remains soft and supple, and is without blemish.  Similarly, its original interior shows as new.  The dashboard and door panels are free of any cracks, and the seats, carpeting, and headliner are virtually free of wear.  Best of all, this car has only 41,000 original miles and runs and drives as beautifully as it looks, its 350 CID Buick V-8 supplying the power and smoothness that have long been hallmarks of Buick design.

You will also appreciate the level of optional equipment with which this classic is equipped—including virtually every option available in 1977—even a factory power sunroof!  Its optional equipment raised its standard price of $4,700 to a whopping $7,500 and included the following:

  • Power windows
  • Power door locks
  • Power steel sunroof
  • 6-way power driver’s seat
  • Electric trunk release
  • Delay feature windshield wipers
  • Electric rear window defogger
  • Air conditioner
  • Outside rear view sport mirrors
  • Soft ray tinted glass
  • Lighted visor vanity mirror
  • Cruise control
  • 350 CID Buick V-8
  • Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission
  • Tilt steering wheel
  • Chrome wheels
  • Radial whitewall tires
  • Radio Accommodation Package, including factory AM/FM Stereo with cassette
  • Trunk light
  • Instrument gauge package with clock
  • Floor mats
  • Landau custom top
  • Custom trim with 60/40 split front seat

All options work as they should, with the exception of the clock.  Even the air conditioning is ice cold!

This beautiful car was purchased from Spitzer Buick, Inc. of Parma, Ohio in March 1977, and was rustproofed by Tuff-Kote when new.  It has never been driven in the winter and was always properly stored indoors, which accounts for its completely rust-free condition today.  All paperwork available, including the owner’s manual, original window sticker, and maintenance records will be provided with sale.

If a completely original, beautifully maintained, and highly equipped one-owner personal luxury car is what you desire, this Regal is for you.
