54,000 original miles … RARE Bright Orange Metallic exterior … T-tops … Swivel bucket seats with center console … Landau package … Perfect interior …

How often does one come across a rust-free 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau with T-Tops, swiveling bucket seats, and center console with only 54,000 original miles?  Now, how often does one come across such a car in its original factory bright orange metallic finish?  Monte Carlo enthusiasts, this is the one!

Finished in striking bright orange metallic paint, with immaculate buckskin vinyl interior, this car is definitely eye-catching.  Powered by a 305 CID V-8, this car runs and drives beautifully.  This car is heavily optioned, including swiveling bucket seats with center consoleT-topsAM/FM stereocruise controlair conditioningdual sport mirrorsmap light, and tilt steering wheel.  The car also features turbine II steel wheels, which were included with the Landau package.  Even the spare tire is a full size turbine II steel wheel, and still sports its original Goodyear tire with markings and blue on the whitewall—just as it appeared the day it left the factory in 1977!

This car is in excellent condition in all respects, as the pictures provided attest.  The interior, including the seats, dashboard, and headliner, is free of any wear.  Similarly, the carpeting is free of evidence of wear, except for one nickel size spot on the driver’s side, which is pictured.  In addition, the dash and all armrests (including the doors) are in excellent condition.  In addition, the original paint is in excellent condition and has an absolutely brilliant luster.  The vinyl top is soft and supple and devoid of any imperfections.  All chrome and aluminum trim is in excellent condition and shines beautifully, with no pitting evidenced.  In addition, all glass (including the T-tops), is in excellent condition.  The original black vinyl T-top covers, which are in excellent condition, will be included with the car to ensure that the T-tops continue to stay in spotless condition when stowed.

This stunning car was originally sold from Lavery Chevrolet in Alliance, Ohio to the former owners’ brother-in-law on August 29, 1977.  The former owners purchased the car from their brother-in-law on August 26, 1980, at which time the car had only 3,241 miles.  Over the years, the couple enjoyed owning the car, never driving the car in the winter, and always keeping the car garaged and under a car cover when not in use.  It is for this reason that the body, frame and floor pans are completely free of rust.  They never permitted their children to drive the car, and reserved the car as a seldom used, but much enjoyed extra car, driving it to Florida once, and occasionally around town.  As the former owners are now in their 70s, and were not driving the car much, they decided that it was time for someone else to enjoy the car.  A color photocopy of the 1980 title, owner’s manual, “1977 Chevrolet Passenger Car Maintenance Schedule,” “1977 Chevrolet Consumer Information” guide, “Audiovox Operation Manual” and “Passenger Car New Vehicle Inspection Procedure” checklist from Lavery Chevrolet will be provided to the next owner of this car.
