Stunning Mark V in Bright Yellow Gold Diamond Fire Metallic with Cream vinyl top … Luxurious Gold and Cream leather interior … 460 CID V-8 … Dual exhaust … Ice cold A/C … Under 35,000 original miles …

There is perhaps no more classically refined and understated personal luxury car from the 1970s than the Lincoln Mark V.  From its star-crowned grille to its elegantly shaped deck lid, the Mark V is a car for those who appreciate timeless beauty and comfort.

The elegance found in all Mark Vs is even further accentuated by the extremely rare color combination and highly optioned low mileage example you see here.  Finished in Bright Yellow Gold Diamond Fire Metallic, one of ten extra-cost optional finishes, its high luster finish is enhanced by a coordinating Cream vinyl roof, pin stripes, and side body moldings.  These colors are also echoed in the interior, with its optional Gold and Cream two-tone leather twin comfort lounge seats, a feature of this car’s rare and optional Gold/Cream Luxury Group offered in 1977.  Also included as part of this Luxury Group is a 6-way power passenger’s seat and grey cut-pile carpeting in the luggage compartment.   The leather is glove soft, and the interior, including carpeting, dashboard, steering wheel, dash wood grain, door panels, and headliner show virtually as new.

In addition to the car’s striking color combination, you will also appreciate its level of optional equipment, including the following:

  • 460 CID V-8 with 4 barrel carburetor
  • Dual exhaust
  • Cruise control
  • Interval wiper system
  • Interior light group
  • Headlamp convenience group
  • Appearance protection group (door edge guards, front and rear floor mats, license frame)
  • Remote control right hand mirror
  • 6-way power passenger seat
  • Tilt steering wheel
  • Power vent windows
  • Defroster group
  • Landau vinyl roof
  • Custom paint stripes
  • Rocker panel moldings
  • Forged aluminum wheels

All power options, including the car’s ice cold air conditioning and clock function as they should.  One item of note is that there are a few minor paint chips that have been touched up over the years, but these do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.  This classic runs and drives as beautifully as it looks, having traveled less than 35,000 miles since new!

This car was originally sold from Agnew Lincoln Mercury, Inc. in Hickory, North Carolina.  The original owner subsequently sold the car to her sister in March 1982, and the car resided in North Carolina until 2010.  It was driven sparingly over the years and was always properly maintained, accounting for its condition today.  All available documentation will be provided to the next owner of this car, including the original North Carolina license plate from 1977, owner’s manual, copy of the 1982 title, and a 1997 North Carolina Vehicle Inspection Report.

Make today the day to begin enjoying this beautiful, low mileage, and well preserved Mark V!
