Buick’s Electra was always a car of distinction. Always near the top of the Buick line, it exemplified a unique combination of styling, luxury, and elegance that appealed to the well-heeled. Perhaps Buick said it best in 1979: “There are wools, and then there’s Scottish cashmere. There are full-size automobiles, and then there’s Buick Electra.”
This stunning unrestored 1979 Buick Electra Limited Coupe is finished in Dark Brown Metallic and features an optional heavily padded landau roof in Tan, optional wide body side moldings and pinstripes. Its original finish has a beautiful luster that is further accentuated by an abundance of chrome and brightwork that is in excellent condition. Buick’s exclusive porthole trim and wire wheel covers add additional notes of distinction.
The all original interior is similarly refined, featuring luxurious crushed velour seating areas in Tan. Its commanding dashboard features handsome silver-backed instrumentation and rich wood appliqués. The optional 6-way power driver’s seat and tilt steering column will have drivers of all sizes comfortable at the helm. The seating areas, carpeting, dashboard, headliner and door panels are all in excellent condition.
