There is something very alluring about Corvettes.  They have long captivated the imaginations of generations of car enthusiasts.  If you didn’t have one, you wanted one, and if you were lucky enough to own one, you cherished it.

One such “cherished” one is this beautiful L-82 powered 1979 Corvette.  Still wearing its factory applied Corvette Dark Blue Metallic finish, this car’s finish has a beautiful luster.  Coordinating beautifully is its Dark Blue leather interior that is like new.  The seats, door panels, dashboard, carpeting and center console are similarly without wear.  You will also appreciate this car’s abundance of comfort and convenience items, including the following:

With the exception of the stereo, all power options work as they should.  In addition, the air conditioning works, but does not currently blow cold.

Under the hood you will find the optional 225 HP L-82 350 CID V-8 engine, a $565 option that offered 30 additional horsepower over the base 350.  Fitted in just 27% of 1979 Corvettes, the L-82 engine makes this car quite rare.  This Corvette also features a 3-speed automatic transmission and dual exhaust.  Having just 25,700 original miles, this well maintained and cared for car runs as well as it looks.

A two-owner car, this Corvette has been owned by the same individual since 1984.  Under his ownership, this car took 1^st Place in the NCCC East Ohio Region Championship Series in the Concours Wash & Show Class and was featured in Corvette Enthusiast magazine.

Included with sale are the original T-top covers, owner’s manuals, and shop manual.  In addition, a copy of the Corvette Enthusiast magazine in which this car was featured will be provided to the next owner, as will a custom car cover.

Minor imperfections in the original paint do not detract from the overall appearance of this car.
