How often does one come across a 1979 Triumph TR7 30th Anniversary Edition with just 15,000 ORIGINAL MILES that has been lovingly cared for the last 36 years? Triumph enthusiasts, this is your chance to own and enjoy this beautiful classic!

Finished in eye-catching Carmine Red lacquer, with coordinating Beige interior, this rust-free car was always stored indoors, never driven in winter, and always received the best of care. Powered by Triumph’s 2.0 litre four cylinder, in-line overhead valve engine, this car features a five speed manual transmission and road-holding direct rack and pinion steering that allow for complete driver control, and excellent gas mileage.

The 30th Anniversary Edition came with over $900 of optional equipment, making it even more enjoyable to drive and enjoy. This equipment package includes the following:

   •  AM/FM stereo radio with cassette deck
•  Leather-wrapped steering wheel made in France
•  Wheels specially fitted with polished aluminum trim rings and hub caps
•  Chrome luggage rack
•  Racy stripes
•  BOSCH fog lamps
•  Upgraded floor mats
•  Commemorative dashboard plaque

Purchased from Bishop Motors, Inc. in Barberton, Ohio on July 3, 1980, the original owner cherished this car, saving virtually all original paperwork, including the original dealership sales invoice, Jaguar Rover Triumph Inc. $1,000 retail customer rebate claim form, and many service records.  The original keys even sport their original key chain from Bishop Motors!  All of these items will be included with the car.  In addition, a duplicate copy of the original title will be provided.  Other items that will be included with this car are the original BOSCH fog lamp plastic protective covers, original owner’s manualsmaintenance handbookTriumph “Passport to Service,” TR7 sales literature from Bishop Motors, and TR7 Roadster Road Tests reprinted from the September 1979 issues of MotorTrendRoad & TrackCar and Driver, and Sports Car Graphic magazines.

This car is in excellent condition, as the pictures provided attest. Tires, hoses, belts, brakes and gaskets have been updated, and brand new clutch has been installed. The black bumpers are still a brilliant black hue, exhibiting no evidence of fading or cracking. The paint and chrome glimmer, and the interior is like new. And best of all, the car runs and drives as well as it looks. Imagine yourself walking onto the lot of your local Triumph dealership in 1980 and buying this car, because you are essentially buying a 1979 car with only one year of wear. Given the care provided, this excellent running and handling spritely car will likely continue to thrill for many years to come. All service records will be provided to the next owner of this car.

Items of note are that the clock and power antenna do not work. The original lacquer paint has also exhibited some age-related cracking on the front nose below the hood. Other minor paint imperfections do not detract from overall appearance of the car, and the paint exhibits a brilliant luster.

If a low mileage, sporty, fun to drive, and eye-catching TR7 is what you desire, this is the car for you.
