Classic Car Facts

63,700 original miles … Light Driftwood metallic … Leather interior … Sunroof … Aluminum alloy wheels … 5.7 Liter V-8 … Trailer towing package … Fully loaded …

Long before the advent of mini-vans and SUVs, American families relied on another form of transportation to meet their needs—the venerable station wagon.  Whether it was carrying the little league team to practice, or hauling lumber from the hardware store for weekend projects, the station wagon was the car to get the job done.  And there was no more luxurious and comfortable wagon than Buick’s top-of-the-line Roadmaster Estate Wagon.  If you could afford a Cadillac, but needed a station wagon, this was your car of choice.

This gorgeous eight passenger 1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon is finished in Light Driftwood Metallic and is complemented by a Light Beige leather interior.  Further enhancing the exterior is its simulated wood paneling, which is in excellent condition.  Aluminum alloy wheels and a rear passenger sunroof, complete with sun shades, give this wagon added distinction.  Its luggage rackthird rear seat and 2-way tailgate offer additional practicality.  You will also appreciate this car’s long list of comfort and convenience items, including the following:

  • Power windows
  • Power door locks with automatic programmable lock feature
  • Driver and passenger 6-way power seats
  • Remote keyless entry
  • Air conditioning with electronic touch climate control
  • Electric outside heated mirrors
  • Electronic cruise control
  • Automatic dimming rearview mirror
  • Leather seating areas
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Twilight Sentinel headlamp control
  • Cornering lamps
  • AM/FM stereo with cassette and premium speakers
  • Power antenna
  • Full size spare tire

All power options work as they should, but the air conditioning does not currently blow ice cold.

Powered by a 5.7 liter V-8 engine with sequential fuel injection and factory dual exhaust, this wagon has power to spare.  It is also equipped with an optional limited slip differential and trailer towing package.  Having only 63,700 original miles, this car runs and drives as well as it looks.

Having spent all but one year of its life in Texas, this car has never seen a northern winter, and shows only minimal wear of the interior and exterior.  In 2009, this car competed in the International Station Wagon Show and was judged for its interior, exterior, wheels and tires, chassis and engine compartment, and received 303 points out of a possible 325.  It has only seen light pleasure use since that time.

A two family owned car, this wagon’s rarity is not only by virtue of being well equipped and low mileage, but by extremely low production figures.  According to documentation from the Lead Archivist from the GM Media Archive/GM Heritage Center, this wagon was one of only 5,577 Roadmaster Wagons produced in 1995.  This documentation, as well as International Station Wagon Show judging sheetdealer invoicemaintenance records, and 1995 Buick sales brochure will be included with sale.

If a rare and beautifully maintained low mileage wagon is what you desire, this Roadmaster Estate Wagon is for you!
